Metamorphic Calendar

This infographic booklet I made came with several limitations for the particular project. My class’s assignment was to make a calendar with a bit of a catch…we could not use days or months as the main visual expression of time. This required ample abstract thought, so I decided to take the understanding of time to something learned at a very young age: metamorphosis.

In this book, I created visuals to compare the life spans of different species of butterflies and moths, ranging from living for years to only living for days at a time. This book would be used in an educational setting and was inspired by components of Swiss Design.
